The 2024 Science CORPS cohort presented two posters at the Indiana Academy of Sciences Meeting!
Leonardo, Reed, and LaDre created a poster of their test of the Enemy Release Hypothesis and their test of whether seed predation differs between forested and unforested environments. They found no support for the Enemy Release Hypothesis, but found that seed predation was greater in forested than unforested sites.

Ashlee and Chris created a poster of their test of how seed predation differs across an urban-rural gradient, and across a latitudinal gradient. They showed that seed predation was higher in rural environments than urban and suburban ones, suggesting that urbanization can affect species interaction. In contrast to other studies, however, they did not detect a latitudinal gradient in seed predation.
